Course highlights are:

* you learn to identify the common postural distortions

* you understand the differences between primary and compensatory dysfunctions

* you train your eye to see muscles of hypo- and hypertonicity

* you will find that your treatment sessions are more precise and effective

* you advance your skills in treating such as:

- Foward head posture - Kyphosis/Lordosis - Thoracic kyphosis - Lumbar lordosis - Pelvic tilt and rotations - Rotations of the femur - Varus/Valgus knees

* you will discover the truth about leg length differences and the research

* you´ll get up to date info on the use of Heel lift and other Orthotics

* unlike other classes, you´ll learn to consider the cranial and visceral factors and more

* you will learn and practice evaluation strategies standing, sitting and supine

* you will begin to develp a view of the body as a whole unit and deepen your understanding of your patients

Let´s face it, there are many therapists that only treat where it hurts. This is an ineffective method of treatment. This approach wastes the therapist and patients time and money. It may also worsen the patients symptoms and slow their recovery.

By using precise evaluation techniques, you will find your treatments help stop the "Pain".

Once you knwo what is the cause, only then can you treat the patient.

Finally, you can now clearly communicate to your patient the primary postural or structural problems and suggest evidence based treatment. This is very helpful for insurance documentation and reimbursement.
